Cam Newton has most spectacular 14-yard run you'll ever see

So this just happened.

Midway through the third quarter of the Monday night matchup between the Patriots and the Panthers, and facing a 3rd-and-7 from the Carolina 37, quarterback Cam Newton did ... well, this:

Officially, it was a 14-yard gain but according to ESPN, Newton covered 75.8 (!) yards, leaving countless jock straps and broken ankles in his wake. Eight plays later, he threw 15-yard touchdown pass to tight end Greg Olsen to give the Panthers a 17-10 lead.

Midway through the fourth quarter and the Patriots are ahead, 20-17.
