Chargers sign three, including former Seahawks WR Deon Butler

The San Diego Chargers got busy in free agency Monday, signing three players. The team signed wide receivers Deon Butler and Dan DePalma and cornerback Cornelius Brown. Brown and Butler were signed to one-year deals, and DePalma was signed for two seasons.
The most notable signing is probably Butler, who was a third-round draft pick of the Seahawks in 2009. Butler had spent the past four seasons with Seattle. Butler's biggest season with the Seahawks came in 2010 when he caught 36 passes for 385 yards and a team-high four touchdowns.
DePalma originally signed with the New York Jets in 2011 as an undrafted free agent out of West Chester University (Pa.). DePalma was cut by the Jets before the 2011 season started and ended up on the Giants' practice squad, where he's spent the past two seasons.
Brown played in 10 games for Indianapolis in 2010 and had 24 tackles. He also returned kickoffs for the Colts, averaging 20.4 yards on five returns.
