Charlie Whitehurst prominently featured in Browns' 'Last Supper' of QBs masterpiece
The journeyman quarterback will serve as the backup behind rookie Cody Kessler on Sunday
Charlie Whitehurst is in his 11th NFL season, and in that time he has played for five different teams. But barring another injury in Cleveland, where he signed this week after Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown went down, the expectation is that Whitehurst will only serve as the emergency backup behind rookie Cody Kessler.
Whitehurst has started a total of nine NFL games in his career, but he's better known for his chiseled features and flowing locks. Fans have even come up with a nickname for the journeyman quarterback: Clipboard Jesus.

Man, that's the saddest assemblage of NFL quarterbacks you'll ever see. This fact is not lost on Whitehurst, who as of this morning, also admitted that "I've never met anybody in this locker room":

Whitehurst will be on the sidelines Sunday when the Browns face the Dolphins. The hope is that Kessler can stay upright; otherwise, Cleveland could be on its fourth quarterback in three games. And that worst-case scenario means we could all be treated to the Whitehurst Nightmare Face:
