A fracas broke out in the third quarter of the Panthers-Rams game and after throwing a punch, Rams defensive end Chris Long was ejected.

In not-so-surprising news, Steve Smith was involved in the on-field fight, which featured the refs making it rain with penalty flags. After some back-and-forth, Long tossed a punch:

Long was dragged away from the scrum and thrown out of the game. As he was being taken from the field a Panthers fan threw something at him, perhaps a bottle. Long didn't like this and tried to get the attention of someone from security to have the Panthers fan looked at:

Nothing happened but Long apparently got angry enough that he was willing to give the crowd the middle finger.

Chris Long was ejected and appears to have given Panthers fans the finger afterward.
