Coordinators Todd Bowles, Ray Horton may be looking for new jobs
Todd Bowles could be out as defensive coordinator with the Eagles and headed for Arizona, where Ray Horton has asked out of his contract as the Cardinals' defensive coordinator.
Defensive coordinators Todd Bowles and Ray Horton are likely to be let go on Friday, pending talks with their current teams.
Bowles has a meeting set for Friday with new Eagles coach Chip Kelly, and league sources said Kelly is looking to go in another direction with his defense. No formal decision will come until Kelly has spent time with Bowles.
Horton is awaiting word of his fate with the Cardinals after expressing a desire to leave with one year left on his contract. He is upset at the way the team handled the search for a head coach. New Cardinals coach Bruce Arians would like to bring Bowles there, sources said.
