Denver Broncos safety arrested, charged with DUI
Less than a week after winning the Super Bowl, a Broncos defender was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Keo, 28, played at the University of Idaho and was a fifth-round pick of the Texans in 2011. He played in Houston from 2011-2014, and joined the Broncos in December after reaching out to defensive coordinator Wade Phillips about a possible spot on the roster.
@sonofbum I hear ya, still the same system tho. Little man is doing great. Keep me in mind tho if things don't pan out— Shiloh Keo (@kaleo10) December 2, 2015
Keo and Phillips were together in Houston.
In Denver, Keo played in four regular-season games, and his biggest moment came in the divisional round against the Steelers when he recovered a late onside kick to seal the Broncos' victory.
Meanwhile, the team knows about Keo's arrest.
"We are aware of the matter involving Shiloh Keo and are in the process of reviewing it," said Patrick Smyth, the Broncos' vice president of public relations.
Keo could face a possible suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.
