Detroit Lions sign Brandon Chubb to practice squad

The Detroit Lions have added a new linebacker to their practice squad on Tuesday afternoon.

Brandon Chubb, formally of the Los Angeles Rams, was signed by the team.

The reasoning for the Chubb addition? Detroit lost offensive tackle Brian Mihalik to the Pittsburgh Steelers

Chubb was an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest signed to the Rams practice squad. They released him in September, and Detroit decided to add him after a workout on Tuesday.

He'll add some additional depth to the linebacker spot.
