Eagles-Cowboys flexed to Sunday night in Week 17
The Eagles-Cowboys game was flexed to Sunday night in Week 17
The move was announced at halftime of the Eagles-Bears game and it means the Eagles will appear on Sunday Night Football for two straight weeks.
It also means that we could see a situation where Tony Romo is holding the football on the final drive of the NFL's 2013 regular season with a shot at the playoffs on the line.
That's because Eagles-Cowboys will be a winner-take-all melee for the NFC East title. Philly actually had nothing to play for entering Week 16's game against Chicago. The only thing that mattered was beating Dallas (which currently holds the tiebreaker over Philly) in Week 17.
But if this was a tuneup for next week, Chip Kelly's squad looked pretty good.
