Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested and charged with second degree misdemeanor over the weekend after an incident at Miami International Airport, according to Miami-Dade County Court records.

According to the police report, which was obtained by TMZ, Bradham was stopped at the airport after the TSA noticed that he had a loaded gun in his backpack. Bradham was then arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

From the sounds of the police report, it doesn't seem like there will be much of a punishment for Bradham. The Eagles linebacker, who has a permit to carry a concealed weapon, told authorities that he made an honest mistake and forgot that there was a gun in his bag.

According to TMZ, police believed Bradham, noting in the report that "it was clear that there was no criminal intent on his part."

Bradham was taken into custody on Oct. 2, and later released on a $500 bond.

"We are aware of the report regarding Nigel Bradham," the Eagles said in a statement. "We have been in communication with Nigel and the authorities regarding the situation. As it is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time."

The arrest marks the second time in less then three months that Bradham has been arrested in South Florida. Bradham was charged with assault in July after allegedly hitting a hotel worker in Miami. That case is still pending.

This is Bradham's first season in Philadelphia. The linebacker signed a two-year, $7 million deal back in March. The Eagles had a bye in Week 4, which is likely why Bradham was in Miami.
