Eagles' Nick Foles ties NFL record with 7 TD passes vs. Raiders

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles tied the NFL record with seven touchdown passes Sunday at Oakland against the Raiders.

Before he was replaced by Matt Barkley in the fourth quarter, Foles became one of seven QBs to equal the mark most recently tied by Peyton Manning vs. the Ravens in Week 1.

Foles' record day only ties the Eagles' single-game mark, because Philly's Adrian Burk also threw for seven TDs vs. the Washington Redskins on Oct. 17, 1954.

Others who are tied with seven scoring passes in a game are the aforementioned Burk, Joe Kapp (for Vikings vs. Colts in 1969), Sid Luckman (for Bears vs. Giants in 1943), George Blanda (for AFL's Oilers vs. Titans, now the Jets, in 1961) and Y.A. Tittle (for Giants vs. Redskins in 1962).
