Erik Walden butts heads with a helmetless Delanie Walker
Colts linebacker Erik Walden wasn't ejected Thursday for something for which he probably should have been ejected.
In the second quarter, the officials might have missed something a little more egregious than that.
This play featured Colts linebacker Erik Walden and Titans tight end Delanie Walker, and as the latter attempted to block the former down the field, Walden yanked off Walker's helmet. When Walker went to protest the injustice of that particular move, Walden appeared to head-butt Walker in the chin.
Which seems unfair since Walden is wearing a hard plastic covering on his skull and Walker was not.
Oh well, no ejection was forthcoming, and Walden continues to play.
