Hall agrees to a one-year, $2.25M deal to return to the Redskins

DeAngelo Hall will agree to a one-year, $2.25 million deal to return to the Washington Redskins, according to a league source.

The cornerback, like so many other veterans at his position, was released for salary cap and contract issues earlier this offseason. The Redskins, who hosted veteran corner Antoine Winfield last week, remain interested in Winfield as well, but are very cap strapped, with only about $1 million in available space.

Washington is seeking to upgrade its secondary this offseason but the cap issues have mitigated their ability to be as active as they have liked.
