Now, nine months after pleading not guilty to perjury, prosecutors said in a filing on Tuesday that there are more than a dozen instances in which evidence contradicts Jenkins' testimony to the grand jury.
Prosecutors say Jenkins' claims aren't credible, particularly about Jenkins telling the grand jury she couldn't remember where she threw out a box that might have contained evidence from the shooting.
Though prosecutors haven't said what they think was in the box, they also say they have evidence that contradicts Jenkins' statements about how and why she removed the items from Hernandez's house.
While Hernandez is in jail awaiting three murder charges, Jenkins is free on personal recognizance.
Prosecutors also say she lied about talking with Ernest Wallace, also charged with the murder of Lloyd, after Lloyd was killed.
