Jags' Jalen Ramsey: Aaron Rodgers 'didn't throw my way. Write that'
The first-round pick is pleased with his NFL debut, even if Rodgers burned him on a blitz
The Jaguars lost to the Packers on Sunday, but Jalen Ramsey won -- at least according to Ramsey, the Jags' first-round pick. After the Jaguars' last-ditch comeback attempt fell short, Ramsey reminded reporters and all of Twitter just how well he fared against Aaron Rodgers.
First, he credited himself for shutting out Rodgers.
Jalen Ramsey not happy about the loss, but did have this comment about Aaron Rodgers: "He didn't throw my way. Write that."

And then, he made sure everyone on Twitter knew about it.
Lol people quick to want a story so here you go: ZERO completions on me. I back up my talk. I play for the Lord and my teammates! We fought!

If that last part sounds incomplete, it's because it is. Ramsey, perhaps unintentionally, nearly quoted Ser Alliser Thorne's last words, which were spoken moments before Jon Snow executed him at Castle Black.
"I fought," Thorne says on "Game of Thrones" (and here comes the important part). "I lost."
The Jaguars and Ramsey fought -- they held Rodgers to just 5.9 yards per attempt -- and they lost. Ramsey might've done fine in coverage, but when he had a chance to sack Rodgers, he failed to drag him down. And Rodgers made him pay with another one his godly touchdown throws.
Rodgers was being pulled to the ground...

But that was NOT stopping him.
Crazy throw. Crazy catch. @Packers TD! https://t.co/fAEcLqELri
He also got burned in the end zone.
Jalen Ramsey said he didn't give up a completion, this should have been a TD on him though. pic.twitter.com/Vcwpnq1X2O

For the record, I fully endorse football players, like Ramsey, speaking their minds after games, even after losses. And it's worth noting that Ramsey likely made those postgame remarks because, before the game, he dared Rodgers to throw the ball his way.
Just remember to correctly quote "Game of Thrones" next time. Credit will not be received for incomplete work.
