Jaguars land Broncos guard Zane Beadles with five-year, $30M deal
The Jaguars signed Zane Beadles on a five-year, $30 million deal on Tuesday.
They didn't mess around, either, giving Beadles a five-year, $30 million deal with $13 million guaranteed.
Beadles spent the last four years with the Broncos since being drafted with the 45th overall pick (second round) in the 2010 NFL Draft.
He made the Pro Bowl in 2013 and spent the last two years protecting Peyton Manning, who he should probably thank for helping him make bank on the market.
Beadles will line up on the left side along with second-year tackle Luke Joeckel to form the primary protection for whomever the Jaguars end up drafting or signing at quarterback.
As of right now his job will be protecting Chad Henne, but we'll see how long that lasts.
