Jaguars score first touchdown of the season in Jacksonville
It took 11 weeks, but the Jaguars finally scored their first touchdown of the season in Jacksonville on Sunday.
Don't worry, you're not crazy, you read that headline correctly. The Jaguars scored their first touchdown of the season in Jacksonville on Sunday -- and yes, it's Week 11.
The historic score came on fourth down when Jacksonville quarterback Chad Henne hit wide receiver Danny Noble for 62-yards and the touchdown. That's right, 62-yards means the Jaguars went for it from their own 38-yard line on fourth-and-1.
Before Sunday, the Jaguars had played three games in Jacksonville and came away with one safety and three field goals, but not touchdowns. The Jaguars did technically score a 'home' touchdown in Week 8, but that touchdown was scored in London, not Jacksonville. Before Sunday, the Jaguars had not scored a touchdown in Jacksonville since Dec. 23, 2012.
