Jeff Fisher: Rams RB Isaiah Pead likely done for season with torn ACL
Rams running back Isaiah Pead is likely out for the season after suffering an injury that the team believes is a torn ACL.
St. Louis Rams running back Isaiah Pead is likely out for the season after suffering a freak injury in the Rams' 21-7 loss to the Packers on Saturday. Pead was returning a kickoff in the first quarter when he appeared to injure his knee after planting his foot awkwardly.
Pead wasn't touched on the play and he was carted to the Rams locker room. Rams coach Jeff Fisher said after the game that the team believes Pead is done for the season. "It appears we've lost Isaiah with an ACL," Fisher said.
Since being selected in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Pead has carried the ball a total of 17 times for 75 yards in his two seasons with St. Louis.
