Jets WR Jalen Saunders in one-car accident, taken to hospital
Jets rookie receiver Jalen Saunders was in a car accident Friday, and the team said he's being monitored at the hospital.
Jets rookie receiver Jalen Saunders, the team's fourth-round draft pick, was in a car accident on the way to the team facility on Friday morning, and he was "taken to the hospital and is being monitored as a precaution," the team announced.
Saunders wasn't expected to have much of an impact on the wide receiving corps this season, but the former Oklahoma standout was looking good to make the squad as a punt returner.
