The 49ers announced Thursday afternoon that coach Jim Harbaugh is undergoing 'a minor procedure' at Stanford Hospital for an irregular heartbeat.
The 49ers announced Thursday afternoon that coach Jim Harbaugh is undergoing “a minor procedure” at Stanford Hospital for an irregular heartbeat.
Special-teams coach Brad Seely, also the team’s assistant head coach, will oversee the team’s practice and meetings in Harbaugh’s place.
The team said Harbaugh is expected back at the team facility Friday.
“When more information regarding coach Harbaugh is available we will pass that along,” the 49ers said in a statement.
