We’ve already told you that Steelers first-round pick, guard David DeCastro, tore his MCL on Saturday, but if there’s a silver lining, CBSSports.com’s Jason La Canfora has it, reporting that DeCastro’s ACL is still intact.

That means there’s a chance DeCastro could return this season, though La Canfora writes there is no definite timetable for that.

“He will clearly miss a good portion of time but [the] team is unsure yet if it will be season ending,” La Canfora reports.

The injury occurred Saturday vs. the Bills when DeCastro was pushed back into the pocket by Marcell Dareus and he fell over right tackle Marcus Gilbert.

Like second-round pick, tackle Mike Adams, DeCastro had struggled during training camp, though DeCastro was slated to start at the right guard spot.
