Lawrence Jackson: Lions fans should be 'excited' about future
Lawrence Jackson thinks that Detroit Lions fans should be fired up about what's to come.
Former defensive end Lawrence Jackson has been critical of the Detroit Lions before, but Tuesday, he took a whole different tone.
On Twitter, Jackson admitted that the Lions, one of his former teams, have a very bright future to look forward to. He admitted to loving the Oakland Raiders, but thinking the Lions were good, too.

In the past, Jackson has been critical of Detroit's front office and overall plan, but it's clear he's liked what he's seen from general manager Bob Quinn and company so far from a team building standpoint in 2016.
Lumping the Lions in with the Raiders -- one of the NFL's best stories this season and last -- is certainly high praise.
