Lions' Glover Quin fined for big hit on Rams' Tavon Austin
The NFL will fine Glover Quin for Sunday's hit on Tavon Austin.
Glover Quin popped Tavon Austin on Sunday, and the Detroit Lions safety has been fined by the NFL as a result.
Quin revealed on Wednesday that the league notified him that he would be fined for his crushing blow on Austin in the end zone after a caught pass for a score.

The amount of the fine? Per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, it should be around $24,309.

Quin told Birkett that he planned to appeal the fine. It will be interesting to see if that appeal gets anywhere in the coming days.
