Lions running back Reggie Bush won't play Sunday at Washington on Sunday. Bush, who has been dealing with a knee injury since last week, was listed as questionable heading into the game. Joique Bell is in line to pick up the reps Bush now won't take.

The hope is that Bush will be ready when the Lions face the Bears in Week 4.

Bush arrived in Detroit this offseason and provided an already high-powered offense with another dimension. In his debut against the Vikings, the former No. 2 pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, rushed for 90 yards on 21 carries and added 101 receiving yards on four catches, including a touchdown.

According to Football Outsiders, Bush is the third-ranked receiving back behind only Darren Sproles and LeSean McCoy.
