London Fletcher: Never heard slurs from white players in locker room
Redskins linebacker London Fletcher on whether he's ever heard the type of racial slurs allegedly uttered by Richie Incognito: Never in my 16 years in the NFL.
London Fletcher has played for three teams throughout his 16-year NFL career.
The Redskins linebacker, appearing on That Other Pregame Show on CBS Sports Network, says he has never heard racial slurs used so freely by somebody of the opposite race.
Richie Incognito, of course, is leaning on "locker room culture" as his excuse for using the language he's being accused of using.
Bart Scott, he of Jets and Ravens fame, says if he witnessed what Incognito was saying, "there would have been a line of about 32 people in line to put their foot up his butt."
More from Scott, "the responsibility was on the black players, because they allowed it to happen."
It's a good discussion about race from two longtime NFL linebackers. Give it a watch, and let me know what you think about this topic.
