Now Dak Prescott should really know how Tony Romo feels. After every Cowboys loss over the last decade or so, Romo's been treated with an absurd amount of microscopic coverage, with the merits of his human worth being debated.

Dak's not getting the same treatment after Dallas' 10-7 loss to the Giants on Sunday night, but there are a ton of Cowboys fans who spent the evening calling for Romo to come in and play quarterback during the game.

No, really, this happened.

But it wasn't just crazy Cowboys fans who were shaking their firsts angrily and screaming "JERRRRRAAHHHH!" It was crazy analysts too.

What this means is that we're going to get a week -- and maybe like four weeks -- of additional sports screaming about Dak vs. Romo and how the Cowboys should handle this situation.

It's insane that anyone could be considered a guy who should get benched after losing a second game to the same team to fall to 11-2. Cowboys fans are quickly forgetting what last year was like, losing every week because the backup situation wasn't good.

Prescott is the future of the franchise!

And yet, there is some logic here, because Romo would give the Cowboys another gear that Dak can't offer them right now. It also might just totally trash the team chemistry, which has been so good with Dak under center.

Jerry Jones said after the game he wouldn't be making a move, and he said it adamantly. But things change quickly in the NFL, as Dak Prescott learned on Sunday evening.
