Look: Jaguars war room currently running on skeleton crew
The Jaguars are saving their draft-day war room attendance for the actual draft.
There are countless ways to interpret the photo above but the visceral reaction, at least for us, went something like this: Yep, that looks about right.
Maybe the Jaguars staff was on a collective smoke break, or there was a fire drill, or perhaps the NFL Network war room camera was accidentally placed in a storage closet that also doubles as office space for two lucky interns.
Wherever the truth lies, the overriding imagery screams isolated, forgotten and lost. It serves as a microcosm of recent Jaguars history, but the team now has a new owner, general manager and coach, and the early sense is that this time things will be different.
As for what exactly is going on in that picture, the Jags can explain.
