Last time we checked in on Johnny Manziel, he was meeting with Saints coach Sean Payton. Payton said the Saints weren't necessarily looking for a backup quarterback at the time, but that it's good to get to know the former Browns first-round pick a little bit.

He also said that he thinks Manziel might be able to make an NFL comeback at some point. "He's got a skill set that's unique -- good feet, he can create. I've seen him play one game live," Payton said. "He's got some work to do, but he's got arm talent, I don't think any of those things are a question right now."

It appears Manziel is trying to get back in the game, or at least work his way up to being able to do so. He caught a workout this week with star Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham, who just recently signed the most lucrative shoe deal in NFL history, hasn't yet reported to the Giants for OTAs but he's expected to show up on Thursday.
