We're getting a whole lot of mileage out of a naked Vince Wilfork. In case you missed it, the big-bodied Texans defensive lineman appeared on the cover of ESPN the Magazine fully nude in a sprinting stance, drawing lots of praise for his willingness to show his body (and make gynecologist jokes).

His former teammate and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady also got involved after Wilfork dared him to also bare his bod. And now there's a movement to have Wilfork's birthday suit added to the NFL logo.

Brad Evans of Yahoo! Sports suggested Wilfork's beautiful body become a part of NFL lore in the way that Jerry West is "The Logo" for the NBA.

The Texans responded accordingly.

This is all a hilarious joke because the NFL would never put Wilfork's body on its logo. THE SHIELD is far too valuable a marketing tool for it to feature a 325-pound man naked in the middle of the stars.

But if you think about it, this would actually be pretty innovative. Football is probably best represented by a quarterback -- guys like Brady, Cam Newton Peyton Manning and Joe Montana are the faces of the franchise and the league -- but football is a violently beautiful sport. It functions the way it does because of the big men in the trenches.

Showcasing Wilfork, with his combination of size and speed, on the logo would be a pretty sweet way to represent the sport.

A man can dream.
