Man charged with killing Adrian Peterson's son posts $750K bond
Joseph Robert Patterson, the man charged with killing 2-year-old Tyrese Ruffin, is free for now.
Patterson's attorney, Tim Rensch, said there are no conditions on the bond, but that Patterson, the boyfriend of the mother of 2-year-old Tyrese Ruffin, "plans to stay in the area and defend himself."
Patterson has been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, aggravated assault and aggravated battery in the death of Tyrese. Patterson pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday.
His bond then was reduced to $750,000 on Monday, meaning Patterson only had to post $75,000 in order to get out of jail. Previously, the bond was $1 million.
A pretrial hearing will take place in January.
