Injuries, as they often have, derailed Michael Vick in 2013. Nick Foles stepped in as starter when Vick suffered a hamstring injury and never looked back, carrying the Eagles to an NFC East title.

Vick's run with Philly is probably over once the Eagles season ends. No telling right now where he'll end up, but Vick believes he'll be "playing somewhere."

"I don’t worry about it,” Vick said. “My skill set is still there, my arm is still there, my legs are still there, I’m still a playmaker, that’s evident. I think at some point, I’ll be playing somewhere."

Assuming Vick doesn't stick with the Eagles -- he'll be a free agent in 2014 so it's a good assumption -- he'll probably end up being correct about finding work.

There will always be teams that need quarterbacks and there aren't enough decent ones available. If Jay Cutler sticks with the Bears, Vick's probably going to be the top guy on the free agent market.

The Titans, Texans, Jaguars, Raiders, Vikings and Browns all have a definite need at quarterback. That's nearly 20 percent of the NFL right there. There are other teams that could wind up having a hole as well.

Vick's often struggled to completely harness his talent. But that doesn't -- and won't -- stop people from giving him a chance.
