Mike Glennon's teammates think he looks like Napoleon Dynamite
This is sure to do loads for Josh Freeman's confidence. Not only has the Bucs QB been benched, but he's been benched for the NFL equivalent of Napoleon Dynamite.
Well, this is sure to do wonders for quarterback Josh Freeman's confidence. Not only has the 2009 first-round pick been benched by the Buccaneers, but he's been benched for the NFL equivalent of Napoleon Dynamite.
On Sunday, rookie Mike Glennon will make his first NFL start Sunday against the Cardinals, but to his teammates he looks more like the bespectacled high school doofus with the ginger afro.
“I told him, ‘You should have worn the Pedro shirt like on Napoleon Dynamite,’’’ cornerback Darrelle Revis said, via the Tampa Bay Tribune. “At first, he was like, ‘What?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, Napoleon Dynamite.’ He was like, ‘Oh, OK.’ He kind of got the joke late.’’
