NFL announces new Pro Bowl uniforms for 2014
In 2014 the "new" Pro Bowl begins. And the NFL announced it will feature new uniforms as well.
The game done changed. Literally -- in 2014 the Pro Bowl will be entirely different as the NFL tries to shake things up and get fans and players to care (more) about the league's postseason All-Star Game.
Under the new set of rules, it won't be AFC versus NFC, but rather a pair of high-powered, captain-chosen squads squaring off against each other. As such, traditional uniforms aren't required.
And the NFL announced the new uniforms -- designed by Nike and looking very much like Oregon and Oregon State uniforms from the Civil War -- on Tuesday.

Senior NFL Writer Pete Prisco took a look at the uniforms on Tuesday morning and it's safe to say he isn't giving high marks to anything Nike is doing with uniforms around the league these days.
