NFL Expert Picks: Who will win defensive rookie of the year?
CBSSports.com experts pick who they think will win the defensive rookie of the year award.
Will Brinson | Alec Ogletree: Since 2000, only two non-linebackers have won a NFL DROY. Ogletree might not fit the "traditional" LB fit of a Kuechly-type and he might not pile up sacks, but the dude is a playmaker. If he stays on the field for the full season he'll put up monster numbers behind a beasty front four and if he makes plays like he did over the weekend he'll generate enough buzz in a weak rookie class to win the award.
John Breech | Jarvis Jones: With the Steelers, Jones is going to be playing in a system he should thrive in. Also, a linebacker has won this award for nine of the past 10 years, so I didn't want to pick against history.
