Will Brinson | Alec OgletreeSince 2000, only two non-linebackers have won a NFL DROY. Ogletree might not fit the "traditional" LB fit of a Kuechly-type and he might not pile up sacks, but the dude is a playmaker. If he stays on the field for the full season he'll put up monster numbers behind a beasty front four and if he makes plays like he did over the weekend he'll generate enough buzz in a weak rookie class to win the award.

Josh Katzowitz | Kiko AlonsoWhile Alonso wasn't taken until the second round of the draft, he'll outperform some of the raw defenders taken at the top. At least in his rookie year.

Jason La Canfora | Sheldon Richardson: He doesn't play a glamour position but is so good and so versatile, already, that he will help make the Jets DL superior. He has freak-of-nature potential.

Ryan Wilson | Ziggy AnsahHe began his NFL career with a pick-6 (fine, it was against Mark Sanchez, but that still counts) and he'll benefit from playing alongside Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley.

Pete Prisco | Akeem SpenceHe is already a starter and he is playing like he's been in the league for years. Playing next to Gerald McCoy, he will be a force.

John Breech | Jarvis JonesWith the Steelers, Jones is going to be playing in a system he should thrive in. Also, a linebacker has won this award for nine of the past 10 years, so I didn't want to pick against history.
