NFL Week 13 picks: Jake 'The Snake' Roberts picks Rams, Seahawks
With his lead over Dave Richard shrinking by the week, wrestling legend Jake Roberts reveals his Week 13 picks vs. the spread.
Don't head for the exits just yet, folks. This one's not over yet.
After yielding an 11-game lead to pro wrestling legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts early in the season, senior fantasy writer Dave Richard has posted two consecutive weekly wins in their season-long wager to see who can pick against the spread with the greatest accuracy. In the past two weeks, Dave has cut Jake's 11-game lead down to seven games.
With five weeks remaining in the regular season, if the current trend continued, Dave would be on his way to a three-game win. If that happens, Jake "The Snake" Roberts would have to put in a day's work at CBSSports.com, and Dave Richard would be off the hook for a day of DDP Yoga.
In recent weeks, it has almost seemed like Jake felt bad about potentially winning the contest so decisively.
As improbable as it might seem, Dave might still pull off the win. Two weeks ago, he was Ricky Morton in dire need of a hot tag. Now he's closer to Jerry Lawler with the strap down, or Hulk Hogan in mid-"Hulk-up." He's catching his second wind after an extended rest hold. Time for the big finish? We'll see about that.

What's a prediction contest without a little something on the line? Here is what Jake and Dave risk if they lose the contest.
IF JAKE WINS: Dave travels to Atlanta and visits Diamond Dallas Page's Accountability Crib for an intense DDP YOGA workout and gets a lesson in gluten- and dairy-free living.
IF DAVE WINS: Jake visits the CBSSports.com office and must work with Dave for a day.
We'll find out who prevails after Week 17. In the meantime, here are Jake's Week 13 picks against the spread (the same spreads used in our CBSSports.com NFL expert picks):

And since it's Thanksgiving, we leave you with this: In the early years, WWE's annual Survivor Series events took place on Turkey Day. Here's a clip from the 1989 Survivor Series and a group of WWE (then WWF) wrestlers expressing thanks, including Jake "The Snake." Happy holidays, everyone.
