NFL Week 14 Injuries: Jackson, Gonzalez expected to play

Report: Reggie Bush slips in warmups, aggravates calf

Detroit Lions  running back  Reggie Bush  might have aggravated a calf injury by slipping on the field before the game Sunday at Philadelphia, a sideline reporter has told the team website. He slammed his helmet down and was surrounded by trainers.

It remains to be seen if the accident alters his status for the game. He had been listed as questionable before being cleared for action.

Vincent Jackson , Tony Gonzalez  expected to play Sunday

According to various reports, Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (leg) will play vs. the Buffalo Bills , and Atlanta Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez (toe) will play vs. the Green Bay Packers .

Stevan Ridley expected to be active

New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley is expected to play against the Cleveland Browns , a week after he was a healthy scratch vs. the Houston Texans due to fumbling problems in the team's Week 12 game.

Report: Dennis Pitta activated in time for Week 14

Baltimore Ravens  tight end Dennis Pitta will be active in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings , reports NFL.com Saturday. Pitta has been on injured reserve since suffering a hip injury in the preseason, but has been able to work in practice in recent weeks.

It is not clear if Pitta will be the starter, or even what type of workload he is likely to face at this time. The fact that he is able to play at all is impressive, as he was thought to have possibly been facing a season-ending injury when it occured.

Concussion sidelines Rashad Jennings Week 14

The  <a href=  officially listed running back  <a href=  as inactive Week 14 at N.Y. Jets because of a concussion. Jennings came into the game as questionable after being limited in practice all week.

The Raiders announced Marcel Reece will start with Jennings and Darren McFadden (ankle) both sidelined.

Jordan Reed out again

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed will not play against the Chies while he continues to recover from a concussion suffered several weeks ago.

Jason Campbell ready to roll for game against Patriots

<a href=  quarterback  <a href=  cleared concussion protocol midweek and returned to practice, so it comes as no surprise that he is active for the game Sunday at New England. He had been deemed probable.

Morris Claiborne ruled out yet again

Dallas Cowboys  defensive back Morris Claiborne (hamstring) will miss his second game in a row in Week 14, as he has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Chicago Bears . Claiborne has missed four of the last five games as a result of the injury.

Lance Briggs ruled out for sixth straight

Bears linebacker Lance Briggs (shoulder) was unable to practice and will miss his sixth game in a row in Week 14 against the Cowboys, as he has been ruled out for Monday's game. 

Jay Cutler sits out final day of practice

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (ankle), who has already been ruled out for Week 14 against the Cowboys, was not at practice Saturday. Coach Mark Trestman told theChicago Tribune Cutler was just being held out to rest, after going through practice Thursday and Friday.

Cutler will be re-evaluated Monday to determine his status moving forward.
