Odell Beckham leads all receivers in long touchdowns since 2014
Odell Beckham Jr. leads all NFL receivers in a few key stats since the start of the 2014 season.
Odell Beckham Jr. is the best wide receiver in the NFL when it comes to scoring long touchdowns -- at least that's what the stats say.
According to New York Giants team writer Michael Eisen, Beckham has nine career touchdown catches of 50-plus yards, eight of 60-plus yards, and five of 70-plus yards. All three statistics rank No. 1 in the NFL since the start of Beckham's rookie 2014 season.
He added two more to his tally in Week 6 when he scored on plays of 75 and 66 yards.
Beckham has totaled 35 receptions, 581 receiving yards, and three touchdowns this season through six games. He has the fifth-most yards, 10th-most touchdowns, and the 11th-highest yards per catch average (16.6).
When you consider the fact that Beckham has missed 5-of-38 games since the start of 2014, it makes these numbers look even more impressive. It's easy to see why some people make the argument that Beckham is the best wide receiver in the NFL. He's certainly the game's most consistent big play threat.
