At least one person thinks it's perfectly reasonable for Aaron Rodgers to say the Packers, currently on a four-game losing streak, can "run the table" and finish at 10-6: Head coach Mike McCarthy, who, based on his job description, occasionally needs to be a little delusional.

"I love it," McCarthy said, via the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Ryan Wood. "It's an expression of confidence. That's a statement that he made. I read about it just like everybody else. I think it just shows what's going on internally, but the fact of the matter is we have to win the next game. This is a big challenge going to Philadelphia. It's a very good football team."

This is where we point out that the Packers are closer to last place in the division than first place. They also have a point differential of negative-29 this season, which balloons to negative-46 points over the last four games.

Meanwhile, the Eagles, who began the season 3-0 but have dropped five of their last seven, are undefeated at home.

The good news is that, despite the struggles, the Packers' offense ranks 12th, according to Football Outsiders. The bad news? The Eagles have the league's best defense, one that has allowed, on average, fewer than 10 points per game at The Linc.

Still, Rodgers remains upbeat about the immediate future.

"The offense is starting to click a little bit more, we've just got to put together a game where we're more consistent from the first snap to the last. We've been, I think, getting closer to that," he said earlier this week.

"We've really been clicking at times in the last few games," Rodgers continued. "But it's going to be important that we get going early. We had three three-and-outs to start the [Washington] game, but overall on the season, we've done a better job of limiting our three-and-outs, we've been sustaining drives pretty well."

After traveling to Philadelphia, the Packers' remaining schedule includes Houston, Seattle, at Chicago, Minnesota and at Detroit.
