Packers place Sam Shields on injured reserve
Sam Shields's season is likely over.
Sam Shields will now likely miss the rest of the regular season.
The Packers announced on Tuesday they have placed Shields on injured reserve. And according to his Instagram account, Shields hopes to return in two months. Here's what Shields said on Instagram.

Shields suffered a concussion during the Packers season opener vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 11. He's been on concussion protocol ever since. This is the second concussion Shields has suffered in 10 months and the fourth concussion he suffered in his career.
The Packers also officially announced the signing of running back Knile Davis.
