Pam Oliver takes Chandler Harnish football to face before Colts-Giants
Fox sideline reporter Pam Oliver got hit in the face by a football when an errant Chandler Harnish pass nailed her before the Colts-Giants game Sunday night.
Pam Oliver, FOX's NFL sideline reporter, is a pro's pro. And if you don't believe me, just take a look at the way she handled getting hit in the face by a football on TV Sunday night.
The result was a football to the FACE.
There's a major different in this situation and the one involving NFL Network's Ian Rapoport last year. First of all, firing at "RapSheet" was intentional. Secondly, Pam didn't flinch as much as Ian. Third, Pam actually got hit hard. And four, it's unlikely that Rapoport got a public apology from the person who winged him.
Oliver certainly did, even if it was only on Twitter.
Would like to take this time to apologize to Pam Oliver, for the bad pass to the face.. Be expecting flowers in the mail soon! #ToughLady— Chandler Harnish (@C_Harnish) August 19, 2013
That's really nice of Harnish, but he should probably start worrying about making the team if he's going to be that inaccurate in warmups.
