Pat White's visit with Redskins ends with contract

Pat White, who did suffer a concussion three years ago and had been part of a class-action concussion lawsuit, is ending his visit in Washington with a contract. The Redskins became aware of the issues and his involvement in the lawsuit -- which was dropped recently by his lawyer, according to a source -- and did full due diligence on his cognitive status before signing him.

White was put through a series of tests and will join Washington's mix at quarterback with starter Robert Griffin III trying to come back from season-ending knee surgery. White's athleticism is a fit in the read-option game.
