Philip Rivers effectively ended all speculation about his future with the Chargers over the weekend when he agreed to a four-year extension with the team.

Even with the new deal it's fair to wonder how Rivers would react if the team moved to Los Angeles. But according to Ed Werder of ESPN it's a non-factor because Rivers' deal contains a no-trade clause.

But the clause in the deal is probably less about Los Angeles and more about the uncertainty of his overall future this past offseason. With rumors swirling that Rivers didn't want to play in L.A., he was connected with a number of different teams.

"Being able to finish as a Charger was what was most important," Rivers said. "I'm just very thankful and honored that I'm going to have the opportunity to continue to be quarterback here."

MORE IMPORTANTLY: Rivers celebrated the new deal by eating Domino's, which is the most Philip Rivers thing ever.

Black olives and jalapenos? Rivers low-rent pizza game is straight fire.
