PHOTO: Giovani Bernard flies through the air for Bengals TD

There’s a certain segment of the Bengals fanbase who believes Bengals second-round draft pick Giovani Bernard should get more playing time instead of current featured back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

So far, that hasn’t happened. Entering Week 3, Green-Ellis had three times as many carries as Bernard (36 to 12), but Bernard has made the most of them, accumulating a 5.0 yards per carry average. Green-Ellis, meanwhile, is puttering along at 2.8.

Oh, and Bernard did this early in the first quarter against the Packers on Sunday.

Not a bad showcase from Bernard about why he maybe should be getting more touches.
