PHOTO: Giovani Bernard flies through the air for Bengals TD
Early in the first quarter Sunday, Bengals running back Giovani Bernard showed why perhaps he deserves more touches.
So far, that hasn’t happened. Entering Week 3, Green-Ellis had three times as many carries as Bernard (36 to 12), but Bernard has made the most of them, accumulating a 5.0 yards per carry average. Green-Ellis, meanwhile, is puttering along at 2.8.
Oh, and Bernard did this early in the first quarter against the Packers on Sunday.

Not a bad showcase from Bernard about why he maybe should be getting more touches.
