Johnny Manziel might not get drafted by Dallas, but that doesn't mean he can't hang out with Cowboys' players.
If Johnny Manziel ends up getting drafted by Dallas, it looks like he'll have at least one friend on the team when he gets there: Dez Bryant.
Bryant and Manziel were at the same pool party over the weekend and we know that because they took a picture together, which you can see at the top of the page. Manziel even threw up one of Bryant's signature 'X's.
Manziel and Bryant could be seeing each other again at OTA's in May if Johnny Football somehow ends up in Dallas.
For Manziel and Bryant to become future teammates, Mr. Football would have to fall to No. 16 in the draft and even if that happens, there's no guarantee the Cowboys would take him.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones offered a vague answer when he was asked last week if Dallas would draft Manziel.
"There's not anything I can say about it," Jones said. "The only thing I'll say about Johnny Manziel is he obviously had a great career in college, one of the greatest college football players that I've watched in terms of exciting and being a great competitor. Those are things we'll work through and there's a lot of things that go into where you ultimately put a player on your board."
