QB-hungry Bills will sign Pat White if they can't get Josh Freeman
The Bills, in need of a quarterback, will sign former Dolphin Pat White if their plan to get Josh Freeman falls through.
The Buffalo Bills will sign quarterback Pat White, according to a team source, unless recently released Josh Freeman elects to sign with them.
White and Dennis Dixon worked out for the Bills Sunday, and they prefer to keep White. Freeman would be their top choice, but he has several suitors and other scenarios are likely more favorable than Buffalo, where first-round pick EJ Manuel will be the starter when he returns from a knee injury.
Minnesota, Oakland and San Francisco are also among the teams pursuing Freeman. He will make a decision by Monday, according to sources.
