Good news: Despite initial reports, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant wasn't arrested in Dade County, Fla., over the weekend. (He was busy working out -- at 2 a.m.! -- in Dallas). Bad news: Desmond Bryant -- a defensive tackle with the Raiders -- was arrested in Miami early Sunday morning and charged with criminal mischief. The organization, which has some experience in such matters, issued the cursory "we're aware of the situation and are gathering more information" statement.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle's Vic Tafur, Bryant allegedly went to a neighbor's house inebriated and caused a commotion. There are worse crimes, one of them being Bryant's mugshot.
That would be Rolando McClain, Raiders linebacker, who offered up this unique photo op while being cuffed and stuffed in December 2011.
Bryant, meanwhile, registered four sacks last season and will be an unrestricted free agent next month. He played collegiately at Harvard.
