Rams QB Sam Bradford suffers torn ACL
The injury that was feared is now official. Rams quarterback has a torn ACL.
Now, the bad news has been confirmed.
An MRI confirmed that #Rams QB Sam Bradford suffered a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). He will miss the remainder of the 2013 season.— St. Louis Rams (@STLouisRams) October 21, 2013
That leaves Kellen Clemens -- the only quarterback on the active roster -- as the temporary starter , though it's assumed the Rams will begin looking at the free agent market to find another quarterback (it won't, however, be Tim Tebow, because coach Jeff Fisher won't consider it).
The St. Louis Dispatch reports that Bradford will undergo surgery next month.
