Report: Absent Bills LT Cordy Glenn expected back by Week 1
Though we don't know why Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn is not practicing, he's expected back relatively soon.
It's been more than a week since the Bills placed left tackle Cordy Glenn on the Non-Football Injury list, and nobody in the organization is publicly speaking about the mysterious illness Glenn is fighting as his teammates are in training camp.
But here's some good news, I suppose. According to the Buffalo News, Glenn is expected to be back on the team by the beginning of the regular season.
It's still unclear, though, when Glenn -- the team's second-round pick in 2012 who was rated by Pro Football Focus as the 13th-best tackle last season -- will return to practice.
"It's a medical condition. I'm preparing to go on as if he's not playing, which he's not," Bill coach Doug Marrone said about a week ago, via WGR 550. "I'm just waiting for the doctors, and I can't speak about the condition because it's something that happened outside of football."
Seventh-round draft pick Seantrel Henderson, who was once considered one of the top high school players in the country before a debacle of a college career at Miami, has taken over for Glenn for the time being, and he apparently has performed admirably at left tackle.
