Just one week after being cut by Cleveland, Jason Campbell already has a new job. The former Browns quarterback has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Bengals, according to ESPN.com

The move will reunite Campbell with Hue Jackson, which is good news for Campbell because the most successful span of his career came with Jackson in Oakland during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Jackson, heading into his first season as the Bengals offensive coordinator, was the Raiders offensive coordinator in 2010 when Campbell went 7-5 in 12 starts. Jackson was then promoted to head coach for the 2011 season and Campbell proceeded to go 4-2 in his first six starts before suffering a broken collarbone.

Bengals fans might remember that broken collarbone because it led to the trade that eventually sent Carson Palmer to Oakland for two first-round draft picks. Coincidentally, Campbell broke his collarbone against the Browns.

Campbell started eight games for Cleveland last season and went 1-7. The 32-year-old's best showing came in Week 14 against New England when he threw for 391 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-26 loss.

In Cincinnati, Campbell will back up Andy Dalton. The Bengals will be the fifth team Campbell has played for in his nine-year career. The former first-round pick was taken 25th overall by the Redskins in the 2005 NFL Draft. After four seasons in Washington, Campbell spent two years in Oakland, followed by one season in both Chicago and Cleveland.
