Report: Dolphins will lose Reshad Jones for season

One of the Dolphins’ worst fears may have come true.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, safety Reshad Jones will indeed miss the remainder of the 2016 season after suffering a rotator cuff injury in his shoulder.

Jones sustained the injury sometime during Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh, though news of the ailment came the day following. The safety sought a second opinion for the issue.

He is currently second on the team with 51 total tackles and has consistently been Miami’s main asset on defense. His loss puts their season in only further doubt now.
