Report: Jets to re-sign Brady Quinn
Now that his salary won't be guaranteed for the season, the Jets reportedly will bring back quarterback Brady Quinn.
As expected, quarterback Brady Quinn, released by the Jets at the end of last week to avoid having to guarantee his salary for the entire season, will re-sign with the team Monday, according to Pro Football Talk.
New York also has Matt Simms, who played well in the preseason, on the roster.
Don’t expect Quinn to be the only veteran to sign with a team Monday, though.
Last year, 12 vested veterans (4+ yrs) were signed after Week 1. Similar amount could be signed this week as salaries won't be guaranteed— Brian McIntyre (@brian_mcintyre) September 9, 2013
